Indo-China Agriculture Tangerines
We grow two different varieties of tangerine (Citrus reticulata) to meet our customers’ needs. First is the large tangerine (Citrus noblis) and the other is the smaller (Citrus reticulate) variety of tangerine.
Our Tangerines
Our farms produce tangerine (Citrus reticulata) also known as “Mandarin orange” due to the demand for this fruit from our Chinese customers and its suitability to our well-drained soil.
Tangerine grows very well on our farm perhaps because it is considered native to South-East Asia and also matches well with our soil type and pH levels.
We procured our cultivar from farms along the Mekong river in Vietnam that specialized in growing tangerine. Unfortunately, a few years after we procured our trees, our suppliers could no longer supply further trees due to saltwater intrusion which destroyed their farms.
